4th of July weekend!

So we had alot of fun last weekend for the 4th! Friday the 3rd we got together w/my family and took Adi to the park to play, feed the ducks & just hang out! Adi loves feeding the ducks & playing on the swings & slides! Her Ga-Goo (my dad) was helping her down the slide & pushing her on the swings! She was having a great time! It got a little warm that day so went took her to the mall to ride the carousel & throw money in the fountain..two of her favorite things to do! After that we were all a little tired from the heat earlier that day so we headed back to Bliss's house to watch a movie indoors and stay cool! Bliss had already seen the movie so she played with Adi in the other room while watched Slum Dog Millionaire..a great movie I think! We were just enjoying hanging out as a family, eating popcorn & having a few drinks! We finished the movie & had some yummy dinner & then festive cupcakes & cookies for desert! Adi is a huge fan of cupcakes so I had to get them for her! Some cute pics came out of it all :)
The next day Wade, Adi and I got up early and headed down to Wade's parent's lake property in Corsicana to hang out with his family for the 4th!! The lake is Richland Chambers..we always have a great time when we are down there and this was only Adi's second time down there..now that she is older we decided to start taking her down there and she loves it!! She loves being down there w/Granny & Papa & swimming in the pool, taking a ride out on the boat, and this time she got to learn to fish for the first time! We knew she would have a great time especially because every year there are tons of people around the lake that go out on their docks & set off fireworks! It is so pretty to see all the colors off of the water! Adi of course had a BLAST! My husband was definitely in his element down there! He loves to fish and we haven't been able to get down to the lake a whole lot lately but we are definitely going to try & get down there more often..especially once it starts to get cooler! It is so nice to get away from everything for just a bit!
Just hanging out on the dock & fishing, playing around in the paddle boat, cookin' out..it's a great time!
