Dresses, Dresses, Dresses!!

Here a few pics of Miss Adi this summer that I love..I put her in dresses so much cause she just looks so stinkin' cute in them! Luckily I think they are actually easier for her to run around and play in and she doesn't mind them at all!!

Daddy's Girl...

Wade and I think it is absolutely the most precious thing when Adi grabs his hat and puts it on!! She is such a doll! She will grab his hat and put it on and then run to the nearest mirror and giggle, giggle, giggle! It is so cute because she is so girly and when she has that hat on she looks like such a Daddy's girl! It melts both of our hearts!

Our trip to Happy Hopperz!

Happy Hopperz is a little bounce house place off of Risinger and S. Hulen that recently opened! My mom actually told me about it because she got an ad on her door that was listing their toddler times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Well, Adi has always been pretty afraid and cautious of the bounce houses but it's been awhile since she has been around one so I thought I would give it a try! We went on a Tuesday a few weeks ago from 9:30-11:30 (that is their toddler time for kids 5 and under and it is only $4.50 for the 2 hours). She had a BLAST!! She was a little cautious at first but then began running around and really enjoying herself! She is still a little uneasy about being in the bounce house by herself and jumping so I was able to get in there with her and play! That made her feel alot better! She really took to the big blow up slides that they have and we ended up spending most of our time going down those! Here are a few really cute pics! In the last pic she is holding up her root beer lollipop (dum-dum) that she got..those are her favorite!

Summer Reading Program!

We have been going to the library now on a weekly basis! Usually on Wednesdays because they offer Story time in the morning and then after that is over we head to the children's section and sit at the little tables and read and check out some books and movies! Adi is loving it! She asks for Story time now! It's really cute! So the library is offering a Summer Reading Program and they offer prizes as incentives! I think it's great! For every ten books that you read they will reward you with some type of prize! Adi and I joined the program late in the summer because we did not know about it until a few weeks ago. I am so glad that we found out about it though because for the first ten books that Adi read (which wasn't hard because we read several books every night) she got a FREE ticket to the circus! We are really excited since we have been talking about taking her when it comes to Fort Worth in a couple of weeks!
Here are a few pics that I really like! The first pictures are of Adi in her adorable little outfit that Aunt Bliss had her in when I picked her up one morning to take her to Story time! We put on her backpack and we were ready to go!
I also had to put in a few sweet shots I got of Daddy and Adi on the couch reading together! Melts my heart :)

The adorable little mexican dress!!

Okay, so when my sis and I were little..probably like 4 and 5 years old we had those cute little mexican dresses! I still have the pic of Bliss and I..it is so precious! Bliss is wearing a hot pink one and mine is blue! Well, Bliss happened to come across one of these dresses..in Adi's size at a resale shop and it was blue!! I couldn't believe it was almost exactly like mine when I was a little girl! It looks so adorable on her and brings out those gorgeous blue eyes!! I showed Adi the pic of Bliss and I when we were little and she got the biggest kick out of it!

Date Nights!

Wade and I have been getting pretty spoiled lately with date nights! My sis is about to have her first baby and she knows that she will soon be very busy with Baby Hardy! So, being the wonderful Aunt that she is, she has been keeping Adi once a week for sleepovers to spend some quality time with her :) Here are a few pics of our date nights recently!

Adi's trips to South Padre (Dec 2007 & 2008)

The first 3 pics are Adi's first trip to the ocean! She was only 11 months old and wasn't even walking yet! This past year she was so excited that we were going and kept saying "ocean, ocean" on our trip down there. Oh how that tune changed when we actually got there! She loved feeding the seagulls & LOOKING at the water, but she didn't want to really get anywhere near the water!! I think it was just a little overwhelming for her. Bless her heart! So we tried to get her to play in the sand...Adi is one that doesn't really like to get her hands dirty so the feel of the sand didn't sit well with her at first. Finally, towards the end of the trip she would sit down and play in it a little bit more! I was able to get some really cute pics! I love the pic of Adi and I's feet! My favorite picture though has to be the one of Adi looking out into that GREAT BIG OCEAN..so sweet & innocent...

Christmas 2008

Okay so I know these are Christmas pics from last year but I had to post em! We sent out photo Christmas cards last year and wanted to do a family photo so our photographer "AKA" Bliss said she would be more than happy to take some shots for us! We had the best time doing it!! She took tons of pics not knowing if she had captured that perfect one! I'm posting a few that are my favorites & that we ended up using for the cards (although they all were cute)!! We sent out a card that had two pictures on it..Adi was on the main picture holding the candy cane and in the corner of the card was a smaller pic of the family. It was the one of us in front of the Christmas tree! They turned out super cute!!
